Supplement Quality & Transparency
Last updated: September 23, 2026
Supplement quality cannot be judged from the front of a bottle alone. This page explains the information ZWR Labs customers should review and the documentation we rely on when describing products.
The physical label comes first
Ingredients, amounts, serving size, directions, allergens, and warnings can vary by product and can change over time. Compare the product page with the package you receive. If there is a material difference, pause use and contact us with photographs and the lot code.
Understanding quality information
- Supplement Facts: lists dietary ingredients and amounts per serving when required.
- Other ingredients: identifies components such as capsule materials, flavors, sweeteners, colors, or processing aids.
- Lot or batch code: links a finished unit to production and distribution records.
- Certificate of Analysis: can report identity, potency, microbiological, or contaminant results for a particular product or batch. A document for one batch does not automatically apply to another.
- GMP: refers to manufacturing-practice requirements; it is not proof that a product treats a condition or guarantees a result.
Testing and certification statements
We describe a product as tested or certified for a specific characteristic only when documentation supports that statement for the relevant product, manufacturer, or batch. A badge, laboratory name, or certificate should not be treated as universal evidence for unrelated products.
Botanical and marine ingredients
Natural materials can vary with source, harvest, and processing. Ingredients such as herbs, shilajit, and sea-derived materials require attention to identity, contamination controls, and labeled intake. Follow the package warnings and consider total intake across products.
Storage and tamper protection
Follow label storage directions. Do not use a product with a broken seal, leaking container, unusual odor or appearance, missing lot information, or signs of tampering.
Requesting information or reporting a concern
Use our Contact Us page to request available label or batch documentation. Include the product name, order number if applicable, and lot code. For a quality concern, include clear photographs and a description. Stop use and seek appropriate professional care if you experience an unexpected reaction.
